It should surprise exactly no one that the 'Dawgs essentially have clinched the 2010 Fulmer Cup, or that a friend of mine who is a Georgia Tech fan stopped by my Facebook page to congratulate me on that dubious achievement.
For what it's worth, my response appears herein.

I don't know about anyone else...
… but it’s way too small for me to read. (I can just log into facebook and read it, I guess… but not everyone else can.)
Crud.
I did not anticipate that the downsizing of that photograph would render it essentially illegible. Our exchange went as follows:
Me, in my status update: “T Kyle King is about to leave the office and drive home safely on a current driver’s license just to prove to his fellow University of Georgia alumni that it can be done. (Yes, Kyle has used that joke before, and he will continue using it until it ceases to be relevant.)”
Georgia Tech friend Tann McKenzie, in a comment: “Congrats on winning the Fulmer Cup……in a landslide!”
Me, in reply: “Thanks, Tann. I feel like a NASCAR driver who doesn’t win or try to win races, plays it safe, and finishes tenth all the time, but who wins the Sprint Cup because the drivers who actually try to win often crash and don’t finish. Even a prog…ram with no bar fights can win with enough ticky-tacky traffic offenses! In a way, though, giving Georgia the 2010 Fulmer Cup is like giving Alabama the 2010 preseason No. 1 ranking. The Tide’s lofty spot is based upon the performance of nine defensive starters who are no longer in Tuscaloosa, and every contributor to the Bulldogs’ point tally who bears any meaningful moral culpability in amassing that total (Zach Mettenberger, Montez Robinson, Dontavius Jackson, Damon Evans) is no longer with the program. Still, I guess we’ll accept this award on behalf of the actual wrongdoers whom we ran off for failing to meet the standards of the nation’s oldest state-chartered university!”
Go 'Dawgs!
Great Response
you have a great point about them not being on the team anymore. But its not like we get points taken away for that even though maybe we should.
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.

Washaun gets "at least" a 1 game suspension
Sounds like he’s on the dreaded D-SP (Double-Secret Probation) and had better behave or else it could turn into a rolling suspension.
So, we’ll be seeing alot of Caleb and Carlton next Saturday (or at least you all will. I’ll be in England because it’s been well documented that I’ve been bad and this is my punishment).
I hope Washaun gets his mind right… because what we had here was not ‘Failure to Communicate’, but failure to listen to what was being communicated. He defied an edict and Richt is pretty pissed. The coaching staff is well-aware of any players with suspended licenses. I’m sure a new message has been sent. I hope these guys adhere.
