Programming Note: Dawg Sports Radio Appearance Scheduled for This Evening
I am scheduled to call in to John Frary's radio show on ESPN Radio 1420 out of St. Augustine approximately at 7:35 tonight. If you aren't in the area, you can click on the link above and listen to the show.
Mercifully, we have actual football practice to discuss, rather than players getting arrested in bars for alcohol-related infractions, players getting arrested in vehicles for alcohol-related infractions, and athletic directors getting arrested in vehicles for alcohol-related infractions. (Is there an echo in here?)

Great interview
Regarding your comments on AJ going pro: Do you think a potential lockout in the NFL might give AJ pause when considering the draft. I’m not saying he stays. He will have to decide long before the labor issue gets dire. But do you think that might raise the odds he stays from “slim to none” as you described them? I hope.
That's a fair point; absent the lure of a huge payday, he certainly would have reason to stay.
I try to resign myself in advance to the early departure of any player who might go pro prior to the expiration of his eligibility. It takes some of the sting out of it when they do go, and it leaves me especially elated when guys like David Pollack come back for one more year.
