The big concern in 2010 is redshirt freshman QB Aaron Murray. Any time you are starting a redshirt freshman, you worry. Will he be enough to help Georgia win more games?
What if I offered you this line: 53% completions on 260 attempts, 1750 yards, seven TDs, and 13 INTs? How does that sound? It's not great, but that was basically what Matthew Stafford did as a true freshman in 2006. That is the only season in the last 10 where a Richt-coached quarterback finished outside the top half of the nation in passing efficiency. And you know what? Georgia won nine games that season and dropped three other winnable contests.
Murray, being a redshirt and not a true freshman, should do better than that this season.

for those unfamiliar, that is the stats of our last rsFR QB (David Greene)
and we should have a little more talent around him at RB and WR.
should have a little more talent around Murray than Greene...
cause imo Ealey and King should be better than Jasper, Musa, and Verron Haynes, with AJ, Trav King, Wootentheballcarrier, etc better than freshmen Gibson, Brown, Gary, and Terrence Edwards.
But here's a (glaring) difference
Green had a sick defense to keep the opponent off the scoreboard so that Green wasn’t forced to make too many throws (hence the low INT rate). I’m not saying that your defense won’t be much improved this season over last, but when young QBs are facing a deficit, they sometimes overreach and make mistakes…..
I see your point BUT
I think Murray has the confidence in his offensive teammates that he knows he doesn’t have to force anything. I hope the D is much improved, that’s obviously the X factor in my mind. The O will be fine. I think CMR has taken more of a role with the QB situation and I think he will have the O on track this year.
