Mark Richt's record against Florida will fall to 2-8. But Georgia will ultimately return to the 10-win club and finish the season as one of the conference's hottest teams, using an impressive Jan. 1 win as a springboard to becoming a chic pick to knock off the loaded Gators in 2011.

Naturally, I hope he's wrong
but in this crazy, topsy-turvy season that hasn’t even kicked off yet, I wouldn’t be surprised to see us lose in Columbia and then gel defensively by the time the WLOCP rolls around. I figure sooner or later we are going to get a break down there. This is the year.
How do I know? After of 20 years of searching, I found my lucky Kahunka in an old box of shoes. What is a Kahunka, you ask? And why is this relevant? I’m going to be a hero.
It’s a Brazilian idol, a figurine made of wood. I would post a picture, but I’m not sure if that is wise. It’s powers are known to do strange things, and I don’t want to inadvertantly harm or jeaporize anyone reading this, even if it is a Gator. It’s often attached to the masthead of a canoe to ward off evil spirits which could be lurking around any river bend. This is powerful Mojo. One time, my church league softball team was in a collective slump. I decided since we weren’t Baptists, I’d put the Kahunka (which looks a bit like Nancy Grace) in the bat bag. Our slump disappeared and we won the season ending tournament. Anyway, this thing has been lost for 20 years and since I’m going to J’Ville this year, I’m bringing it. Yes, I may be damned to eternal hell fire for such a heathen thing, but somebody’s got to step up.

Long live the Kahunka!
Lord let it help us at the WLOCP!

Jesus, I like him very much
but he no help with win.
Call me a heathen
but if the idol helps us win, I’m in.

Screw the Doc's prediction.
I hate Florida.
(Not that I’m predicting that we’ll win… I just hate Florida.)
I mean
That seems pretty reasonable to me. 10 wins and a loss to Florida is pretty much the average for Mark Richt, no?
