Georgia Gets a 5-star hoops commit
Kentavious Caldwell has made Mark Fox very happy this evening. Evidently he's a big-time, 5-Star scoring guard from the high school class of 2011 who decided to stay close to home. He's from Greenville, Ga...about 30 miles east of La Grange. Word on the street is that Fox began recruiting this kid the moment our coach's plane touched down on Georgia soil for the first time.
Mark Fox is building a helluva program right before our eyes. You know...I'm thinking we're gonna win a road basket ball game this year. Maybe two?

Two?!?!
Let’s not go crazy or anything. . . .
Still, Paul Westerdawg called Caldwell the biggest signee of Mark Fox’s career and said he was the biggest commitment since Louis Williams, so, yeah, this is kind of a big deal.
Go 'Dawgs!
Bigger than Lou Will, since no one had any illusions of him ever enrolling...
he’s a consensus top 50, if not top 20 kid and as highly rated as any kid we’ve gotten (not including the semantics of Williams) since perhaps Carlos Strong? He’s what some call a “maker”, in that he doesn’t just take shots but can make them. He’s exactly the type of player we need and Fox’s offense can utilize, and one heckuva start to a signing class.

Saw him play HS ball last season .....
… one heck of a player. Good friend (and, I think, AAU teammate) of fellow FB/BB commit Nick Marshall.
It's a gas, gas, gas.
that is correct that he and Marshall are supposed to be good friends...
and both play for the Georgia Blazers in AAU hoops.
Makes that Nick Marshall Commitment all the more EPIC
It’s going to be an interesting year in basketball.
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.

Good get fellas
Mark Fox is a good coach, he’ll have you all back in the tourny soon.
Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, is just a freight train coming your way...
I’m loving it. It kills me not to have a red-and-black presence in the Tourney every year, so this is great. The Dukies have been my basketball love since I was a little boy, but all it takes is a good couple of seasons by the hoop Dawgs to get my unquestioned allegiance.
