Sure they'll slog through . . .

2010 and Coach Caldwell will do his best. But for 2011 I have two words for you, Vanderbilt:

Mike.Leach. Because Pirates are just Commodores who prefer to work freelance . . .

We need to replace kiffin badly

Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.

Vandy probably wont win a game in the SEC next year, unless, of course, its against us

good school and town – poor guys. We took their LB coach too.

Scoff and guffaw all that you will...

… but this is how I think Georgia will eventually lose Mark Richt. At some point in the (perhaps not-too-distant) future, Mark Richt will guide the Dawgs to one or possibly two national championships. At some later point in time, he will call a news conference and say something like this:

“I’ve achieved all there is to achieve in the college football world, and I’ve made more money than I could possibly spend in my lifetime. Now, I feel a higher call on my life, and so I’m retiring and devoting 100% of my time to the just-created Mark and Katharyn Richt Foundation.”

He would then ostensibly spend the rest of his life supporting the less fortunate and Christian missions both at home and in far away places. And though there would be much wailing and gnashing of teeth in the Vineyarddawg household on that day, I would also be incredibly proud of the man, and would count myself all the richer for having the program I love be associated with him for as long as it has.

I agree.

A sudden Bill McCartney-style departure is highly likely.

Go 'Dawgs!
