Grantham On the Rise of the 3-4 Defense in College Football
Todd Dienhart has a very nice article on the rise of the 3-4 defense. Alabama's success with it to counter the spread offense attack has prompted a renewed interest in the scheme and a number of schools are switching to it this seas - notably at Georgia where the new DC, Todd Grantham, used the scheme at Michigan State under Nick Saban.
