College Football Hall of Fame Inductees Announced; No Bulldogs Admitted
The National Football Foundation has announced the fourteen-member 2010 Division I-A induction class into the College Football Hall of Fame. Appropriately, Pat Tillman's election to the Hall was announced on the day before the start of Memorial Day weekend. Tillman and the many other veterans who died defending our country should be uppermost on our minds this weekend.
Unfortunately, the three former Bulldogs whose names appeared on the ballot (Jake Scott, Matt Stinchcomb, and Scott Woerner) were not among those admitted this year. Along with Erk Russell, who was excluded from the previously-announced divisional class, we're 0-for-4 in Hall of Fame inductions this year.
It just hasn't been a good year for the Red and Black.

You make a fair point, samxrm.
As Dr. Saturday pointed out earlier today, when you look at this year’s list of nominees and you look at the guys who got in, it’s reasonable to think they were picked with a dartboard.
