Forces of Nature Conspire to Deprive Diamond Dogs of Victory in Baseball Game in Which Georgia Held Improbable Lead
The Diamond Dogs held a 4-2 lead when play was suspended last night, and, as we all know, this is the worst baseball season in Georgia history, so, naturally, torrential rainfall and the worst flooding in Nashville in 30 years have caused the cancellation of the remainder of the Georgia-Vanderbilt series.
I take this as empirical proof that some supernatural power has arrayed the forces of nature against us. When everyone really is out to get you, paranoia is just clear thinking.

"One thing I will never do as long as I’m at Georgia is lose to Florida." - Herschel Walker
To the contrary, I think we were spared
Where is this optimism coming from, T Kyle? If the game had resumed, we would have certainly suffered a meltdown or witnessed the ’Dores turn it up a notch. We did not lose a chance to win. We were spared a heart-rending loss.
And Vineyarddawg – I move to replace “buuuuuurrrnnnnn” with “FACE!!!” in the dawgsports vocabulary. That picture is awesome.
Thanks, first and thom
I briefly entertained a thought that eventually might have led to hope. I am much obliged to you for sparing me such a fate.

And
Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean they’re not out to get you.
