We could see 34 in the backfield again (or 43...let me explain)

Washaun Ealey wore #24 last season, but he wanted his old #3 from his high school days.  His wish has been granted by the coaching staff.

Caleb King wears #4.

I wonder how many formations might we see with Ealey and King in the backfield at the same time?   Put 'em side by side, and you've got 34 (or 43). 

Being the glass-half-full type of guy that I am, I think this is an ingenious way of usurping that whole technicality of Herschel's retired jersey.  We are going to have a great season.

That sounds about right...

… since it takes two guys, even ones as gifted as Ealey and King, to equal Herschel.
