I created an account at the Tech athletic website to buy tickets to the 2009 UGA-GT baseball game at Rose Bowl Field (got rained out). Since then, I get frequent emailed newsletters with the subject line "The Good Word". Does Paul Johnson know that Radakovich's AA-wide reports to fans covering all sports has a name that focuses on "the other school"?

Hilarious!
I once received an unsolicited Georgia Tech football season ticket order form addressed to “Kyle King or Current Resident.” That was the same year I fell more than 50,000 Hartman Fund points shy of being able to purchase extra tickets to our home game against Auburn.
Go 'Dawgs!
and that reminds me ...
I took the SAT a few times (seven times, actually, which probably qualifies as “several”; it’s a long story, one component of which is being the youngest of three siblings who were somewhat competitive and accomplished takers of standardized tests; but considering the number of offers of free post-secondary education that landed on my doorstep, it was a worthwhile investment of time and money). In a momentary lapse of judgment while registering for one occasion, I directed that my scores be sent to Auburn University. Afterward, I received a letter of acceptance without having applied. The letter informed me that I was to fill out an application and send in the fee, but I would not receive another notice of acceptance. I can’t quite remember the look on my parents’ faces when that letter arrived, but it may have been along the lines of “you did what?!”, since my brothers and I always had been told that they would help us however they could, no matter where we decided to go to school, but if we went to Auburn, we were on our own. That’s pretty strong, especially considering that two of us three went to Tech with our parents’ blessings.
