If you Google your name, you can make a number of interesting discoveries, a few of which might get your attention.
Here's one. . . .
The "Vol Historian" is "ungracious?"
Never.
Would, however, like to meet T. Kyle King.

For the record, after discovering the above link in the sitemeter . . .
. . . I re-read the offending posting, and it still continues to baffle me how the Tennessee faithful reacted the way they did.
Yes, I was angry; yes, I was wrong about a thing or two (although I was quite right about some others); yes, I regret having encouraged such animosity (particularly in light of the animosity stirred up in response to my recent posing regarding Urban Meyer) . . . but the Vols were the subject of nine sentences in a sixteen-paragraph posting providing a detailed eight-point exegesis of the problems of the Georgia program, the vast bulk of which were borne out by subsequent events. It was a posting primarily about the Bulldogs, and it was mostly reasonable.
It did, however, contain two satisfying comments, one from me:
I’ll be happy to have this conversation with you five years from now, when Mark Richt will be the head coach of the Georgia Bulldogs and Lane Kiffin will be a guy you roll your eyes about the way we roll our eyes about Ray Goff.
. . . and one from a Tennessee fan, in response:
It is a sad refrain repeated by many opposing fans- "Kiffin won’t be there long anyway." Such wishful thinking is a waste of time. The way UT is recruiting now, coupled with the best D-coordinator in football, will have them back on top in 2 years. Your posts are ripe with Fear.
I regret ticking so many people off, and I said so in an e-mail to Tom Mattingly; I don’t like giving folks an unfavorable first impression of me . . . but, while there’s definitely some stuff in there I just flat missed, there’s also some stuff in there I just flat nailed.
Go 'Dawgs!
