Contest/Fundraiser Update - Upping the Ante

So here we are with just a few days and $1,240 to go before Christmas to get Deeds dog trained & on it's way to Deeds. We still need to raise an average of about $250 per day in order to make this happen by Christmas. I know everyone has worked hard and dug deep and donated lots and I truly appreciate it, but not more than Deeds family appreciates it. But this is the final push to get it all done by Christmas. I'm not much of a stick kind of person, more of a carrot person so here is your Carrot. If the total raised when I wake up Christmas morning is the full amount needed of $13,800 (the extra is to cover fees charged by firstgiving.com) - then not only will we have a pan of brownies headed out to a lucky winner, but there will ALSO be a SECOND winner - this one gets.......Pumpkin Bread or as TT likes to call it - Pumpkin Cake. Now if you aren't sure what this is, or if you will like it - just ask Tankertoad. I had to run up to Wichita over the weekend to the airport up there and since I was in the neighborhood, I stopped in to see Tank, he got his very own bundt cake pan full of Pumpkin Bread. I'm not 100% positive, but I think he liked it. I'll let him tell you.

So every one dig out your pennies, nickels, dimes, benjamins - whatever kind of money can be donated, and let's raise the last bits needed to help Deeds get his Dog for Christmas. You can click here to get to the donations page. Maybe if we all skip a trip to Starbucks and donate that money instead, we can raise that last few dollars needed.
