So here's the update:

As of this writing, the remaining funding need is $5,024.50 to help Deeds get the Autism Service Dog he needs. A total of $7,975.50 has been raised that's 61.35% of the total amount needed - $13,000.

Since the first week of fund raising, donations have slowed considerably.  Over $6k was raised in the first few days, now it's just under $1k every 5 days.  At this rate, we won't get the funding needed by Christmas, we would still be $3k short.

The brownie contest currently has only 11 contestants so the odds of winning are still pretty dang good - this means YOU should enter.  You get to help a boy get a dog he desperately needs, and you get the distinct possibility of brownies.  What could be more fun?
