Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving! Like most of you, I have plans for the day that involve family, food, and football, so I intend to be away from the weblog for the better part of the next several hours, but, before diving into the turkey and dressing, I wanted to take a moment to honor the seasonal sentiment of the holiday by expressing my gratitude for the many blessings God has heaped upon me, not the least of which is the opportunity to interact here with all of you who frequent the site and make the time dedicated to it worthwhile. Much obliged.
Since Mark Fox's Hoop Dogs will be in action this evening, I have a basketball open comment thread set to appear around the time you'll be sitting down to Thanksgiving dinner, so please drop in and take part in the conversation if you can. Wherever you are and whatever your obligations are on this day, though, I send my best wishes to each of you for a safe and healthy Thanksgiving.
Go 'Dawgs!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone...
I wish each and everyone of you a great holiday season. I have much to be thankful for and I just wanted to say thank you all for helping me get through a very long year.
Freedom is not free!
Is thankful my team is not going to have its record vacated at the end of the season,
no matter who sad that record is.
Happy Thanksgiving to all and Go Dawgs!
Just in case I miss tonight's thread...
… I hope the final score of the Notre Dame game tonight is a multiple of 17-10. Probably won’t happen, because that would mean a blowout (or a massively low-scoring game)… but still. It would be awesome.
My prediction is Georgia 68, Notre Dame 40.
I'd be interested to see your predictions
For the Notre Dame~Georgia Cheating Scumbag Steel Cage Deathmatch I’ve organized between Lou Holtz and Jim Harrick to be held in my backyard after Thanksgiving dinner.
I had to tell Lou it was a motivational speaking seminar, but I got Harrick with a ten dollar bill after I found him sleeping in an alley.
Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

It's cold, wet & maybe a little icy
here in Oklahoma today. I’m fortunate that I don’t have far to travel (5 miles) and I’ll have both my kids with me for Christmas, and enough alcohol to survive the holidays with the family. Now if I can just avoid last years near tragedy, the holiday will be a success!
Just a handy tip – if you take alcohol to a family gathering (because families & family gatherings often go better with a little tiny bit of alcohol), try real hard not to spill any of it in your car lest you be asked at 5;15am tomorrow, “Ma’am, have you been drinking?”

Also,
terribly thankful I didn’t have to cook for the family :) My assignment was to show up with Cheesecake Factory Cheesecake. I’ll be cooking favorites for my boys later.

Happy Thanksgiving, all
I’ve already eaten 1/2 of a pumpkin pie…

I want to thank Kyle, Macondawg, and all the rest of the dawgsports online crew for all the sparkling repartee and discussion this season.
I just discovered the site this season. I live alone in Omaha and away from my Georgia family and the Dogs. This site provides a lot of entertainment, fun, and a connection to Georgia.
Everyone have a happy Thanskgiving.
