Ex Post Facto Programming Notes: ESPN Radio Appearance Over, Podcast to Come
This afternoon, I completely forgot to remind everyone of my usual 7:11 p.m. call in to John Frary's show on ESPN Radio 1420, but that's a regular thing, so you can mark your calendars for the remaining Mondays of college football season.
After appearing with John on the radio, I had my usual Monday evening telephone conversation with Kit Kitchens, who renders yeoman's service by putting it all together on his podcast at The DawgGoneBlog at Beyond the Trestle. He'll have this week's "DawgGone Podcast" up in a few days, but I'm going to go ahead and warn you: I asked him before we began taping what his policy on profanity was.
Dad, don't let Mom listen to this one. If you're an Auburn fan who thinks highly of me (I can't imagine there are many of those, but there are some), you may not want to listen to this one. If you think highly of Nick Fairley, you may not want to listen to this one. The rest of you may want to listen to this one. I'm just saying.

I think highly of Nick Fairley the athlete
Not so highly of Nick Fairley the human being
Do you remember that spelling bee you won in the first grade? Rock? "R-O-K"?
Are you talking about last night's ESPN Radio appearance?
I was referring to this week’s “DawgGone Podcast,” which will be up at the DawgGoneBlog later this week, but which isn’t up yet. Sorry for any confusion I caused.

the podcast is up

Strange . . . I'm not seeing it.
I see last week’s show is up, but the most recent posting I’m seeing is yesterday’s “Dear Auburn” posting.
Do you have a link?

I'm either too stupid
or two much of a hot mess to figure it out right now, but it didn’t just automatically work. So instead, I think we’ll make ourselves beautiful reasonably presentable and wander the strip again.
I can bake like a demon.
So...
Cam Newton never visited Auburn before he committed?
Wow. If I’m an NCAA investigator (or perhaps, a G-Man), I’d really like to hear that explanation.
A most combustible situation this is. And I’ve got my marshmallows at the ready…

Hey Auburn
Revenge is a dish best served cold.

I can’t wait to see you in Athens for an epic beatdown you will not soon forget.

Where did he come up with the idea that Cam never visited Auburn before his commitment?

Thanks for the correction, jd is legend.
I can’t speak for Kit on where he got that impression, but I appreciate your setting us straight on our facts. Much obliged.

Fixed my error
JD, thank you for pointing out that I was wrong in my information about Cam Newton and Auburn. I feel horrible for putting that out there and because of your help, I’ve been able to work to rectify it, first by putting a retraction on the actual posting.
I’ll also retract the statement again next week when I record episode 12. I feel pretty bad about it, but I’m very thankful that my error was pointed out to me.
I’m all about fairness. Not so big on Fairley, though.
