As someone who hasn't made to a Georgia game at Sanford Stadium in about a decade, I'd like to ask for a little help for this coming Saturday.  The Mrs and I are headed there (not a long drive) Saturday morning and have no plans to tailgate.  We have tickets for Gate 5, Lower Level.  What I'd appreciate finding out from the folks here that are better versed in the game day rituals is:

Where to park?  Not too concerned about paying, more concerned about being within walking/stumbling distance, with a balance of getting out in a reasonable amount of time after the game's over.  And you can bet for what she paid for these seats, we'll be there until all zeroes.

Where to pre-party/get sufficiently numb to prepare for what we're getting too used to seeing lately?  Maybe parking downtown and doing a mini breakfast bar crawl is a good option? 

Any other helpful tips and tactics you guys might have?  Like I said, it's been quite some time since I made it to Athens on game day and back then I tailgated with a group of buddies.  So I'm pretty much a neophyte all over again.  All suggestions gratefully received.
