This Just In: The Big Ten is Dumber Than the SEC

I don't want to hear anything more about how all the Big Ten schools are tier one institutions or members of the AAU or any of that other crap they brag about when they're trying to assert their supposed superiority. I, for one, never bought it; quite frankly, I'm as smart and as well-educated as any Big Ten fan or alum I've ever encountered, whether virtually or actually.

However, they just did the coin toss for the Orange Bowl, which proves how dumb the Big Ten is. How do I know that?

Because the Orange Bowl is using SEC refs.

The Big Ten and the SEC perennially carry on a war of words, so much so that Matt Hinton had to try to patch us up and even nice guys have gotten into the act, so it would be a bad idea for the Big Ten to subject itself to SEC refs under any circumstances, but, when the opponent is Georgia Tech, that's just crazy.

The SEC director of officials is a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology.
