I'm not entirely sure . . .

but I believe he just deployed “tubercular” as a compliment, which rarely occurs except in certain districts of Paris’s left bank. Impressive.

I had no idea you wrote fiction as well

Though I certainly should have guessed by some of the lengthy creative writing exercises here. If you ever have time, I think you should find a place on the Internets to share a bit of your fiction. I’d certainly be interested.
