Programming Note: Slight Change of Plans

I just received a call from a very gracious and apologetic Mark McLeod, the gist of which was that my radio appearance this morning will need to be rescheduled for later in the week due to circumstances beyond any of our control.

(To Mark’s credit, he tried sending me a text message about it earlier, but I, being as technologically unsavvy as one can be and still be a blogger, saw an alert reading "Text Message" from an unfamiliar area code, figured it was sent to me by mistake, and deleted it unread. This was not unlike the time one of my high school mock trial students called me five minutes after kickoff of the 2008 Sugar Bowl and, just before picking up the phone, I said to my wife, "Who that knows me would be calling me five minutes after kickoff of the Sugar Bowl?" There may have been a few expletives in that sentence.)

In any case, I’ll keep you posted on my forthcoming appearance later this week, and, in the meantime, I now return you to your regularly-scheduled weblog, which is already in progress.
