Permit me to share a brief programming note. Although today is a light day, the next several days will not be. Between Wednesday and Sunday, the Diamond Dogs will play five baseball games and the G-Day spring scrimmage will take place in Sanford Stadium on Saturday. To top it all off, of course, this Sunday is Easter and MaconDawg will be along with Free Form Good Friday at the end of the week. In short, we’ve got a long way to go and a short time to get there.

Consequently, you should not be surprised if you find me running a bit behind over the next few days and I beg your pardon in advance for the inevitable delays. In the meantime, I strongly encourage you to take the time to read this piece on the future of blogosphere during these difficult days for the newspaper industry.
