U.S. Representative Corrine Brown Brings Us Thanksgiving in March

Every night, I take a moment to thank the good Lord for all the many blessings He has given me. A loving family. Good health. Continued employment during these troubled economic times.

And this:

(Hat tip to Noops Dawg.)

Be sure to vote in the Dancing in the Endzone poll, which asks whether the dashing of Percy Harvey, Corch Urban Meyers, the B.S. national championship, or "Go Gator!" is most responsible for the Gator superb.

Please please please please please let Corrine Brown debate Jack Kingston in Jacksonville before next year’s game. I would be the first to gradulate Corngressman Kingstey on the gutsly way he proved that his debating skills were superb to hers.

Go ‘Dawgs!

Um ...

That is not Obama in drag.

Yeah . . .

. . . and let’s try to steer clear of the overtly political, if we could. Doug Gillett does politics and football, but we try not to do that here.

There’s a big difference between an articulate, intelligent elected official with whom you have principled disagreements and an unintelligible idiot whom I mock not because of her partisan affiliation but because of her team affiliation. Now, if you want to fault (or praise) President Obama for favoring a playoff and/or believing the national government ought to be involved in moving college football in that direction, be my guest. When it comes to substantive matters of public policy, though, I’d rather not deal with divisive political issues here.

Thanks.

Scary!

We don’t claim her… still, I laughed. That was pretty funny. Gradulations.

Why, thank you!

It’s an honor to play in the same conferences with such gutsly players and such an accomplished corch.
