Print"Tennessee coach Lane Kiffin had some stinging last words for Alshon Jeffrey, one of the nation’s top wide receivers, according to ESPN.com.
Jeffrey of St. Matthews, S.C., signed with South Carolina last month after an intense recruiting battle with Southern Cal and Tennessee.
According to ESPN’s Chris Low, “Kiffin told Jeffrey that if he chose the Gamecocks, he would end up pumping gas for the rest of his life like all the other players from that state who had gone to South Carolina.”"
A grown man (well, maybe not) telling a 17/18 year old that. Pitiful.
I was giving Lane the benefit of the doubt. I even started thinking this guy might win some games.
But I'm thinking he's gone after next year.

the only thing Kiffin failed to mention is that if he goes to UT, he’ll be washing the windows.
And if he goes to Florida ...

Seriously, Kiffin should consider designating a Coordinator of Bridge Burning. Because an operation this big requires logistical support.
Perhaps Lane should hire...

Monte is a great pro coach. Being a great pro coach and being a great college coach are two different things, though, and Monte’s track record of success in college was dubious even before he bumped Joe Paterno down to second place in the "Coaching College Football Past the Age of 1,000" sweepstakes.
This hire was a fumble. I respect your need to fall on it, but you know and I know that, three years from now, when he’s gone, you’re going to admit that we were right all along.
It’s Steve Spurrier’s mouth on Gene Chizik’s resume. Not an attractive combination, no matter how hot Layla is.

Mike Shula knew how to keep his mouth shut, but his wife was a hottie too. I only give him 2 years, because the viles have not had to deal with such a idiot, and then add losing to it, and it makes people very, very mean. Trust me on this one.
