More Furman Bisher nonsense
When is Cox Communications going to wise up and just cut ties with this man like they've done with everyone else that works for their newspaper? What does he possibly bring to the table anymore regarding journalistic insight or thought-provoking reporting? There's a reason we made my 83 year old grandfather stop driving after he reached a certain age.

I could have sworn Bisher's contract was bought out . . .
. . . at the same time Barnhart took a voluntary separation from the Journal-Constitution.
Take anything Bisher says about Georgia with a grain mine of salt. When Bisher says he was just passing along a tip he received, you should remember a certain other tip he received at the Saturday Evening Post concerning allegations that Bear Bryant and Wally Butts had conspired to fix a Georgia-Alabama game. Coach Butts’s resulting lawsuit put the Post out of business.
Bisher is no friend of the Bulldogs and no Bulldog is a friend of Bisher’s.
Go 'Dawgs!
To me
This isn’t even an issue of any Bisher/Georgia beef that has existed since the Bear Bryant/Wally Butts debacle. To me, it’s indicative of a man that’s clearly lost his wits as a journalist, doesn’t do his research or homework, and is just putting out sub-quality work. And the newspapers wonder why they’re a dying breed when they pay guys like him and publish this kind of crap.
