aTm's Dog ranked above Uga

Someone sent me this link, apparently AKC.org ranked Texas A&M's "Reveille" above Uga in their Top 125 Dogs in Pop Culture.

My first and only question was "Who is Reveille"?

Now I need thirty more words.  I will use them to celebrate the departing of Timothy Tebow and William Martinez.  What a joyous Christmas.

If Tim Tebow cries everytime he loses, he'll be shedding a bunch of tears in the NFL.

biased crap

they also put Georgetown’s mascot ahead of ours…..(their’s came later). Saying Reveille is the 2nd all time pop dog pretty much invalidates the entire list. And I think most, if not all, Aggies would agree.

Absolutely

Nothing against Reveille, but, when you’re by far the second most famous member of your breed (behind Lassie), you’re not the top anything.

Call me when Reveille (1) appears on the cover of Sports Illustrated, (2) is cast in a movie directed by Clint Eastwood, or (3) is immortalized in a photograph of him trying to bite a student-athlete who plays for his team’s oldest rival. Until then . . . please.

Agree completely, however,

I did learn from the list why in blue blazes my family owned a dad-gummed Irish Setter named Shannon in the late 70’s early 80’s, resulted from my father’s obsession with all things Beach Boys/Jan & Dean.

Slight correction

or (3) is immortalized in a photograph of him her trying to bite a student-athlete who plays for his her team’s oldest rival.

Have to give the lady her due… she is a five diamond Cadet General, after all.

Thanks for the clarification, vineyarddawg

Russ had better work on his pickup lines before Monday. It’s good to be the Uga, but there’s probably not as much traction to being Uga’s understudy.

Tebow's tears

There you go Uga, If I obsessed over Jessica Simpson as much as you do over Tebow, she’d be sweaty and sore.

It's not obsessing over someone if you can't turn on a TV without seeing his face

I wasn’t obsessed with Mark McGwire in 1998; ESPN just wouldn’t show me anything else that summer. Don’t confuse Tebow fatigue with Tebow infatuation.

Exhibit A proving this list is whack:

Who Let the Dogs Out is ranked 2 spots above Lassie.

Also – who knew that Shaggy’s real name was “Norville Rogers?”
