. . . I will simply state that I was disappointed at Leonard Pope's omission from Dr. Saturday's list of the best tight ends of the decade.
I mean no disrespect to the other fine contenders for this award, but Paul Westerdawg is right that the dude was Bill Brassky in shoulder pads. We just didn't give the guy enough hype. I said at the time that we should've rigged the Sanford Stadium scoreboard to release a puff of white smoke every time he scored a touchdown.

This is going to date me...
but when did McMichael graduate? Really though, you could just as well pick McMichael, Watson and Pope’s names out of a hat and any one of them would be nearly as good as the other.
As for as the results of what they have listed, I’m surprised Marcedes Lewis is as low as he is in the voting. I’m also surprised Winslow is as high as he is – Winslow had probably one of the weaker pre-draft seasons at Miami that I can recall.
