It's that time of year when all children (large and small) have sent in their wish lists to Santa. Just in case he isn't busy with other things and might have time to grant one more magical wish, I thought I'd send in my own wish list.
1. I want Georgia to win the MNC in the next 3 years. If for no other reason than to shut up the constant "he's never won the MNC" criticism of CMR. He can only control so much y'all. We should have played for it, we all know that and the BCS knows that. I prefer this happen the year the game is in NOLA, for reasons I think are obvious.
2. I want proven defensive coaches who coach strange things like fundamentals. I want a stout defense. To paraphrase Erk, "If they never score, our chances of winning go up dramatically."
3. I want all of our players to be injury free & reach their maximum potential. I want them to play great football.
4. I want to beat Auburn, Tech & Florida by such large margins for the foreseeable future that none of them ever think they can compete with us again. This is another "just to shut them up" wish.
It's not too much to ask is it? I didn't ask for it to be football season all year long because I thought that might be asking too much.
