Postings Like This One Make It Hard to Hate Auburn . . .
. . . but I'll still manage somehow.
I hate Auburn.

I now see what you're talking about, Kyle
The light bulb above my head clicked on when reading the linked article. The Auburn rivalry isn’t one that fans perform very much wailing and gnashing of teeth over pregame. In a way, however, that makes the wailing and gnashing of teeth that much worse during the postgame after a loss.
These guys sneak in under the guise of a “friendly” rivalry… more like an brotherly conflict rather than a true grab-your-guns-boys family feud. And then, while you’re enjoying the relative lack of acrimony and rancor, they jump up and bite you in the rear end, escaping from your home stadium with a win… many times in such a way that robs you of a conference title or otherwise valuable victory.
It’s insidious really, when you think about it. Not to mention that every single Auburn fan I know treats the phrase, “War Eagle,” as though it’s synonymous with the following words and phrases: hello, goodbye, good luck, how are you doing, I’m fine how are you, let’s go, go Auburn, I hate Alabama, what are you doing Saturday night after we finish rolling Toomer’s corner, and nothing let’s go drinking.
I mean it’s kind of like the word “Aloha” in Hawai’i. Why not just start saying, “smurf” every time, instead? It’s basically the same thing.
With all that said, though, I still hate Florida more.
I hate Florida.

Don't worry Kyle
It’s only a matter of time until War Eagle Atlanta comes over and mouths off to you again, then you can go back to wishing all the worst things in the world upon my alma mater.
And, in a related story, this week marked the 5,000th performance of the Broadway musical "Cats." It also marked the 5,000th time a guy turned to his wife and said, "What the hell is this?"

4 times in a row...
When was the last time this happened in the series? It hasn’t happened in my lifetime. This season has been painful, but a win over Auburn would make me feel a little better.

Hubris, no?
King loves to write that he hates Auburn, but I know better. His actions speak louder than his words.
I mean, even Pinhead welcomes people to Hell: so I think welcoming someone to the neighborhood doesn’t indicate a lack of hate for Auburn so much as good manners.

I'll concede that this seems like a pretty good guy...
But in all fairness, just because SB Nation found the one literate Auburn fan doesn’t mean that the fanbase as a whole can be trusted.
- Insert picture of Auburn students spelling the name of their own university wrong*
In other news, the website for ordering Snuggies has one for The University of Auburn — Sounds like their founder is a Bama grad. Nonetheless, I think I shall refer to them as such from now on. That’s probably the only thing of value to ever come out of that godforsaken company.
I want every college football fan in America to be as miserable as I am.

It is never, and I mean NEVER, hard to hate Auburn.
Just saying.

I don’t mind Auburn, they’re a lot easier to like than UF, GT, Tenn..
