Early Georgia Auburn line.
Las Vegas has the Dawgs giving AU 4.5 points Saturday. Maybe they don't know the history of the series where the home team always seems to lose or at least did for a while. Maybe they don't know Tennessee Tech isn't a combination of Tennessee's defense and Georgia Tech's offense? Maybe they don't know Willie M. is still at Georgia? Or, maybe, just maybe, could they be right?

Auburn has the "away field advantage" . . .
. . . but Georgia has the advantage of being the worse team, record-wise.
Of course, if Las Vegas thinks Auburn is the underdog, that plus the fact that the game is being played between the hedges probably assures that the Plainsmen will go home happy.
Go 'Dawgs!

Should be a good game, but if I were a bettin' man, I'd take the
over, even if its in the 60’s. Probably another Arkansas type shootout unless a monsoon hits.

Hope that hurricane is long gone by then
And, in a related story, this week marked the 5,000th performance of the Broadway musical "Cats." It also marked the 5,000th time a guy turned to his wife and said, "What the hell is this?"

Well...
if it’s raining, Auburn will be fine. The squad seems to play its best ball in torrential downpours. I think it’ll be a great game, at least, I really hope so. I’m glad Auburn is the underdog. It thrives on that position. Being the favorite, well that’s not really our bag I think.
