Among active coaches, only Florida's Urban Meyer, Southern Cal's Pete Carroll and Oklahoma's Bob Stoops have better winning percentages than [Mark] Richt's .765 mark (88-27).

And, three of those four have played for at least two national
championships. And the other, well, he beat Hawaii.

He also led one team to a No. 2 final ranking . . .
. . . and another to a No. 3 final ranking.
I’ll grant that he’s the best coach never to have won a national championship, but any conscientious observer would have a hard time distinguishing between Urban Meyer’s 2006 Gators and Mark Richt’s 2002 Bulldogs. One of them just happened to be lucky enough to be 12-1 heading into the bowl games in a year in which only one other major conference team had gone undefeated.

Coach Richt
CMR is definitely a talented coach but he is going through a rough spot. Have you considered the possibility that he may not be feeling the love and make a bid for South Bend?
Just kidding
