Congressman Jack Kingston is a Man of His Word
U.S. Representative and friend of the blog Jack Kingston made good on his bet with fellow House member Corrine Brown following the Gators' victory in the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. Fortunately, Congresswoman Brown did not wear her orange-and-blue pajamas for the presentation of a Claxton fruit cake. Feel free to insert your "She wanted a fruit cake?!?! She is a fruit cake!!!!" jokes in the comments below.
Here's hoping Congressman Kingston doesn't have to vote against another resolution honoring the Sunshine State Saurians on their national championship this January.

I think he should have had to yell the Corrine Brown chant – 1-2-3-4-5, then those Gators don’t take no jive….a cheer that is apparently a Brown original, as nobody else has ever heard of such.

I would like to gradulate Congressmen Kingster on being man enough to show that he is superb to all the other representatives that can’t seem to always keep their word.
The only thing . . .
that even resembles a silver lining in the possibility of another Gator BCS triumph is the spectre of Representative Brown once again taking to the well of the house in her Gator cape. Not because I enjoy the spectacle, but because I enjoy the fact that it makes other reasonable Gator fans (like skigator93) so uncomfortable.
