Getting to renew the rivalry with the Tigers would take a lot of the sting out of a sub-par season. Interesting side note: Georgia and Clemson have played their 62 rivalry games in four cities and on eight fields. The Bulldogs and the Tigers have met on three fields in Athens (Herty Field, Sanford Field, and Sanford Stadium) and on three fields in Clemson (Bowman Field, Riggs Field, and Memorial Stadium). Their neutral site meetings in the early 20th century were in Anderson and Augusta. I wonder how many rivalries have featured neutral site meetings in three different cities, all of which began with the same letter? Maybe it's just me, but I think that'd be cool. Go 'Dawgs!
