Good luck from a Vols fan.
Hey everyone, I just wanted to drop by and wish you all luck against the Gators. My hate for them is borderline pathological. Nothing would please me more than to see them go down in epic and heartbreaking fashion. I think everyone would enjoy Tebow crying the tears of unfathomable sadness! So, with that, I will wish you all a good game tomorrow. May you provide a much needed bit**slap to the gator nation.

We'll do our best to give you a good Saturday, too mike2ray.
I can respect (and sympathize with) every person who pathologically hates the Gators. Hopefully, tomorrow we will be able to witness a repeat of the following scene:

I hate Florida.

How'd that work out for you?

Badly
By the way, Gatorpilot, I tried writing you an e-mail, but it bounced back because your in-basket was full.
I saw where you’d put up a quotation of mine from last year’s postgame posting, in which I ran through the gamut of emotions following the loss. While the words you quoted were accurate, you took them very much out of context and didn’t even link to the specific posting so that readers who were so inclined could see the full thing and know how it was presented.
I’d consider it a personal favor if you’d take it down, or, at a minimum, link to the posting rather than to the weblog as a whole. Thanks in advance for your courtesy and cooperation.

You mean, hating Florida?
Working out just fine for me, no matter the results. I hated Florida in 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1985, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1997, 2004, 2007, and all the losses in between. I hate all that Florida stands for, and I hate the manner in which they stand for it. Winning at any cost, sleazing your way left and right to success, trying out out-arrogant the competition (though in that point they’ve lost to both Alabama and Tennessee).
And by fostering this culture for nigh on 30 years now (though only with success for 20), you have created a festering mass of supporters that are the most obnoxious, classless, and tasteless… even by SEC standards.
And, I’m happy to say, all of my stereotypes about Florida fans being classless, ignorant mullet-sporting jort-wearers were reinforced over the weekend. I kicked myself for leaving my camera at home, because the Florida fan sitting directly in front of me at the game was wearing cutoff jean shorts, a cutoff halter-top Florida shirt, and had a crew cut with the southbound end starting to grow just a bit too long (but not really a mullet yet). He was loud and obnoxious, in spite of the efforts of the Georgia fans around him to be conciliatory. (There was no way he was a “plant” or secret Georgia-fan-in-disguise, either… he had a friend with him, and another set of friends stopped by during the game to say hello.)
He actually claimed to be a member of the military, and when the old man sitting 3 seats down from him thanked him (sincerely) for his service to our country, shrugged and said dismissively, “It’s just a job.”
Gator fan, indeed. Carry on, Gators.
I hate Florida.

I think
Pilot was referring to the UT fan, not your post.
Speaking of which – what did y’all think of UT’s Halloween costumes they wore to their game against USC Sturday night?

At least black is one of our colors
I don’t get uniform variations that incorporate colors you don’t claim.

Correct. I was taunting the UT guy.
