Alligator Army Advocates Moving the Cocktail Party
Judging by the poll voting thus far, his devil's advocacy hasn't persuaded his readership, which is a good thing. Frankly, after the way those people behaved in 1995, I hope we don't invite 'em back to campus for another 63 years.
Giant Catfish's comment after the posting is pure comedy gold . . . unless he wasn't being ironic? (If he was being serious, all I can say to him is, if you don't get help at Charter, get help somewhere.)

I didn't like them when we were beating them on a regular basis
But back then, they were merely mockably annoying.
New UGa Plate in Florida
Check it out at www.ijax.com – I know that I’m going to get mine as soon as they go on sale!
I don't get it?!
No problem with UGA getting a commemorattive plate in the State of Florida, but “Home of the Georgia/Florida Game?!?!?!” I would think UGA won’t approve that particular design….
There’s a reason there’s a
tag on Fark.com.
(If you’re not familiar with Fark, just check out their Wikipedia entry for a primer.)

well, its a good talking point I guess Kyle
but that’s it. Unless every bit of Intel I get and everything I read and everything I think is wrong – those reptilian bastards aren’t leaving the redneck riviera for the classic city anytime soon. There is a reason we are trying to keep them south of the border, you know?
J-ville cocktail party
Dang it guys, we’re all SEC. Doff your hat to the flagship of the fleet and join us in celebration. We’ll bring the oranges you bring the vodka. Let;s make this a cocktail party to remember. (unless ya’ll win and then I’ll pee on your tires).
What are you referring to?
The “blood” part? I was exaggerating the feelings of UF students about UGA. What else did I say….? Mourning the loss of the 50/50 split? Commenting that most everyone has a good time?
If it’s about the behavior of UGA fans after a win, I never suggested UF fans were any better.
Maybe it changed in 2007 . . .
. . . but, in 1997, none of you people know how we reacted after the win, because there wasn’t a Gator fan within 50 miles of Jacksonville by the time the clock showed a trio of zeros. You people bailed like rats leaving a sinking ship.
“I never suggested UF fans were any better”? That’s weak and you know it. You rip into us as a fan base, then, when you’re called on it, you try to cover it up by saying, “I never suggested UF fans were any better”? Lame.

Not so my friend – I was there until the bitter end in 1997. While it kind of sucked for me, my wife was thoroughly enjoying it, and she earned that right after suffering through 1995 & 1996 (we met in ‘95). We often don’t sit together – opting to separate and sit with our respective college friends for that game, which is typically for the best.
In all kinds of weather…..
Bravo
I always respect a fan that stays until the end… even if it’s bitter.
