Joe Cox; heart of Red and Black
Many of us know the story of Joe Cox. Cox was a talented recruit coming out of Independence High School in Charlotte, NC. He chose to play for Mark Richt at the University of Georgia. He had one small issue upon arrival to his first practice in Athens; future NFL quarterback Matt Stafford was stunning coaches with his abilities. Stafford would become the starter for his three years, letting Cox know that if he were to stay at Georgia, he would only play maybe his senior year, unless Stafford got injured. During the next three years, fans expected Cox to transfer to a school where he would be able to be the leader. Cox thought differently. He showed his love for the University of Georgia by waiting his turn, so he could be the leader of the school he always dreamed of starring for, "the dawgs." Cox is doing a fine job to begin his first and last season at Georgia. Above all, his greatest dream is to someday coach for the University of Georgia. I believe Cox has a heart made of Red and Black.

Actually Cox came in and redshirted in ‘05. Stafford didn’t come in until "06. Shockley was the starter when Cox came in. He had every opportunity to take the starting job in ‘06 but couldn’t beat out the future #1 overall draft pick.
Oh
Sorry about that. But still, Joe Cox did wait his turn at Georgia the school he wanted to play for.
Yeah... first in 2002 and 2005.
… but never last (at least, since 2001).

Heart of Red and Black
he is a nice guy that waited his turn but he lacks the skill set and his heart of red and black doesnt win games. That is what a UGA qb is measured by. He can just retire now and begin coaching because he is not meant to be a player.
