with loading up a tough conference with top-notch coaches. Spurrier went Pro and came back to S.C. and Urban ( the '04 Utes) took over Florida. Saban similar path from LSU to PRO to Alabama. Now we have Petrino from Lousville to Arkansas ? ?

Maybe Pete Carrol can take over at Auburn ( I know they got Chizik - DC for Undeafeated '04 Tigers and Undefeated '05 Longhorns.) GREAT!

Recruiting is heavily influenced just by "Who is the Head Coach ?" I'm proud that the Dawgs are holding their own in the recruiting department but will it last?

Why wouldn't it?

I think Coach Richt has shown that he can more than hold his own in the recruiting department. I am not sure what UT is up to with Garner, since they can’t even offer him a position equivelant to what he currently has, but that would concern me as a UGA fan. Tennessee appears to be putting together quite the staff up there….

CMR is a great recruiter with a proven track record. As long as we are competing for the division (and conference) on a regular basis, we will be fine. How many players has he lost that he truly wanted recently? Not many. UGA is a high profile team now and stands to be for years to come…

I strongly believe this was a try by lil’ kif to cause toil and trouble in a place he knows he has to beat on the field and in the living rooms. Of course Garner helps this diabolical plan by shopping himself whenever he can or feels he’s being neglected in some way. Come on, did kif or Garner think CMR wouldn’t match or better the offer? On the other hand, it may have served lil’ better to let this sleeping dawg lie for a while. We will see.
