The AP Poll is a Joke!
This is what the so called experts think about the AP Poll...after week 1 I think it's time to go back to the drawing board!
Can someone please explain how you take care of business...even sit your top players for a half and you still drop from #1... The media can't stand not having the west coast darlings in the mix... I'm not saying they are not a good team...but come on!!!
Go Dawgs!

Please refresh my memory...
I can’t seem to recall which BCS teams GA beat so far this year.
‘Taking care of business’ against cupcakes doesn’t make you #1. Schedule some real teams.
If they win their next 3-4 they have a chance to return to #1, especially if USC stumbles.
"Schedule some real teams"?
Do Arizona State, Alabama, Tennessee, L.S.U., Florida, and Auburn count?
Why should we be dependent upon U.S.C. stumbling? Even if you assume (probably incorrectly) that soundly beating a Division I-AA team is less impressive than soundly beating a B.C.S. conference team that barely beat a Division I-AA team, surely beating a two-time defending conference champion that took a B.C.S. conference team to the wire in a bowl game last year is more impressive than taking the week off, right?
Go 'Dawgs!
I just checked the standings again...
So far you haven’t beaten Arizona State, Alabama, Tenessee, etc…
You’re not suggesting that you should be ranked number 1 based on the teams that you are planning to beat in the future ? So far your resume just isn’t that great. It doesn’t mean your team isn’t good, but you need to prove it. (I agree that USC taking tthe week off is not that impressive)
For sake of argument, let’s assume that USC beats OSU this weekend, and Georgia beats a questionable S Carolina…honestly, would that cause you to boost Georgia over USC in the polls ?
to clarify...
I guess I should have said ‘Schedule some real teams’ IN THE FIRST TWO WEEKS OF THE SEASON, if you are going to complain about the polls after two weeks. You need to earn it.
