Great game gentlemen
As an Alabama fan, I wanted to say as much as I would have loved to keep it a blow out, the Dawgs showed a ton of heart and courage as the game continued. I told those with me even at halftime I was scared to death because I knew what Georgia was capable of.
May we meet again in December in Atlanta. I will be pulling for you guys to win the East. Hunker Down fellas, and Roll Tide.

Thank you...
May the Tide roll over LSU and Auburn. It was an absolute beatdown, and even when UGA threatened in the 2nd half, it looked like your boys could get up and score again if they wanted to.
Hope to see you again in Atlanta. Honestly, and even with this loss, I feel like the winner will be sent to Miami in January. I just hope UGA will learn from this to get through the rest of the seaon.

Congrats
The game is won or lost in the trenches. You guys were road-graders on both sides of the ball tonight. See you in Atlanta? Hope so.

I have
just started breathing normally again since the start of the game. Even with the big lead I knew you guys could come back. Your team showed a lot of heart, you can be proud of them! Good luck with the rest of your schedule.

Solid
Thanks TexTG. I’ll be honest. I really believe ‘bama just played better than any other team I’ve seen play this season. And I’ve watched a lot of football. Just solid. I hate to say it, but if things don’t go our way the rest of the season, I wouldn’t be upset for a second if your boys just won it all.

Much obliged, Nose Guard
Although the message board yahoos (one or two of whom, but only one or two of whom, have shown up around these parts in the past week) get all the publicity, my personal experience with Alabama fans is of a passionate fan base that is comfortable with its level of history and tradition, and therefore feels no need to be obnoxious about a big win.
The one or two annoying Alabama fans I crossed paths with last night were younger fans, including a 19- or 20-year-old student who smarted off to me as I walked by him. I didn’t saying anything in response, but it occurred to me that, with the arguable exception of the 2005 Florida game, he literally had no meaningful memory of a Crimson Tide win as big as this one. Older ’Bama fans know better.
The Crimson Tide fan in my section sitting two seats down from me couldn’t have been a nicer or classier guy, even when one of the Georgia fans who make us all look bad turned around and started cursing at the guy for cheering for his team. It was a classic case of misdirected anger, for which I apologized to the Alabama fan so he wouldn’t go home thinking we all were like that. Unsurprisingly, the Bulldog fan who gave the Alabama guy a hard time left the game before halftime.
The ‘Bama fan and I, though, stayed to the end and spoke often from halftime forward. He cheered for his team and I cheered for mine. We were respectful and gracious to one another, wished each other well, and expressed our hope that these two teams will meet again in Atlanta in December. I believe we both will root for the other fellow’s team to win ‘em all from now ’til then, and I know for an absolute certainty that each of us will root for the other fellow’s team against Auburn. (I hate Auburn.)
Nose Guard, you’re one of the guys who’s like the guy I sat beside, and both of you are representative of the Alabama fans I have known. Thank you for being magnanimous in victory; y’all bagged a big one last night, and it is to your credit that (unlike some Steve Spurriers I could name) you know you won a big one and are able to celebrate your team’s success without feeling the need to pile on my team and its fans for our failure.
You’re good people, Nose Guard. I expected no less. Good luck the rest of the way.
Go 'Dawgs!

Thanks!
It’s frightening how well a team plays when they are strong on both sides of the line.
Your guys whipped us from start to finish.
Good Luck!
