FYI . . .
I heard a rumor that some diligent Dawgsports readers might be trying to get an "Armani Bear" themed poster into the mix during ESPN's Gameday broadcast from Myers Quad. Let me just say that, if you succeed, I am certain that your names will live on in legend and song. At least at this site, if nowhere else. And if, by the grace of Tivo, somebody manages to catch a screenshot of said poster, I'll be the one doing the singing and legend-proclaiming. I think "Hey Herbie, Remember the Citrus Bowl???" is an acceptable backup option, along with "Lou Holth Wears Knowthon Pathamas". Anybody else have any good signage suggestions?

It would be hard to beat...
…the sign seen in the crowd as those glorious Beavers danced on the 50-yard line:
“Erin Andrews – KY time?”

My "Armani Bear" sign is painted and ready to go
My wife measured last night and with my height + the height of the sign and the poles I will be holding it on, it should be a good 9-10 feet in the air. I will also be there before dawn to make sure I get close.
You’ll know its me because I’ll be the one in black (just want to make sure you can proclaim my legend).
Don’t have Tivo so someone else may have to screencap it but I’ll have my own personal copy on the glory that is VHS.

Forgive my ignorance
But could you explain to a rookie what is the significance of the “Armani Bear” Reference.
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.

This is the only shirt i could find this morning
I think there are limitless ways we could go with this comment from saban.
1. Simple sign to hold as you are wearing your UGA BLACKOUT shirt. (extra points for having a shirt with this phrase on the back)
2. Or you could have a sign with this quote and a picture of Saban wearing something rediculous, use your imagination, i was thinking a picture of Saban wearing the “Supershon” shirt or Knowshon for Hiesman shirt would be pretty good.
There are limitless direction in which you could go with this. You guys are much more creative and funnier than i am so if RedCake or RocketDawg, Macon or King have other ideas about how this quote could be used i’d love to hear what you come up with.

Armani Bear
is a name MaconDawg came up with for Nick Saban. I love it because it simultaneously belittles the Alabama fan’s obsession with all things Bear Bryant and paints a picture of Saban as the slick, sleazy punk he is.

Yeah, it's been up a couple of times . . .
. . . including one right at the very beginning and a later shot where “dawgsports” (unfortunately, the “.com” was blocked) was visible over Fowler’s shoulder.
If anybody has a screenshot, please put it up in a FanShot or a comment.
Great job, RedCrake. Thanks for the publicity!

Thanks for the kudos guys...
I went ahead and left Gameday at about 11:00 because I’d been there since 4:30 and frankly my bladder couldn’t take it anymore.
Nonetheless, it was an absolute blast and I’m honored I was able to represent the site. Many people in line asked me about DawgSports so I’m happy I got to spread the word.
I must now commence consumption of Lemonkade Westons, Gin O’Atkins’, and Darius Dewcherrys in a steady rotation before gametime. Have a great day…and
GOOOOOOOOOOO DAWGS!
