"Farewell to the Tracks", 1980

Were you there? Remember when the players got off the bus wearing "Farewell to the Tracks" autographed T-Shirts and threw them up into us screaming fans who were sitting on the tracks for the last time?

Star-divide

I caught Herschel Walker's and Pat McShea's shirts... I was offered $500 for Herschel's on the spot and have turned down many times that over the years.  The time is right to finally let it go to the right person who appreciates its historical significance as an authentic UGA relic. Please contact john@thymic.com with serious offers.

Farewell to the tracks, indeed!

I miss those days when the tracks people and the bridge people would get into spontaneous roars oblivious to the meek cheerleaders. Broken down couches on the bridge and 1000’s of beer and liquor bottles at both locations. Now, those were the halcyon days of college football.
