Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Isn't Up To Speed On Jeremy Lin, 'Linning'

RIP: Leroi Moore

Totally not college football related, but this morning I heard the truly regrettable news that Leroi Moore, saxophonist for the Dave Matthews Band passed away yesterday as a result of complications from a June ATV accident. Many don't know that it was Moore who actually brought a skinny college bartender with a South African accent together with a group of Charlottesville, Va. jazz musicians to form one of the most mellow bands in popular music. He'll be missed by many. In tribute, a little DMB for your morning:

We'll miss you big guy. We now return to your regularly scheduled college sports blog, already in progress.

sad

I was just persuing some blogs and I saw this. Really sad to see Leroi passed away. Thanks for mentioning it here. I used to love DMB, don’t listen as much any more, but was pretty into the bad for a while, probably been to 15-20 shows. He will be missed!

DMB..

DMB and UGA football are easily my 2 biggest pop-culture passions.

This is awful news. Recently saw them in Charleston and the band taped the crowd chanting ‘We Want Roi!’. Gonna be strange w/o him.
