My 2007 College Football Blogger Award Ballot (Part VI)

We're getting down to the wire here, as the polls are about to close and I still haven't posted my entire College Football Blogger Award ballot; in addition, I had a long day Saturday after having had a long week last week, so I hope you will pardon me for wrapping things up in such an abbreviated fashion. It's entirely possible that this posting will be no longer than a typical posting at any other weblog. Imagine that.

Since Dawg Sports was nominated for Best S.E.C. Blog, I will not be offering an opinion publicly with respect to that category. However, the other three remaining conference-specific categories are these:

I'm voting for Digital Headbutt, even though, technically, Mike White's U.N.C.-related content is posted at Tar Heel Mania. (Another Mike? Honestly, this trend was purely unintentional. . . .)

I mean, how could you not vote for the guy who invented The Lou Holtz Pep Talk Drinking Game?

Since Burnt Orange Nation, as last year's winner, was ineligible to defend its title, I cast my lot with Corn Nation, which features book reviews, issue-oriented interviews, and, as an extra added bonus, college baseball!

After taking a gander at each of the nominees, and after seriously considering The Warriors Will Throw, I elected to go with The Birddog, the self-described "Unofficial Peanut Gallery of Navy Sports." While exhibiting an admirable passion for college football, the Birddog nevertheless offers in-depth analysis and debunks myths.

Those are the last of my picks for The 2007 College Football Blogger Awards, for which I will be casting my official ballot later this evening. Your thoughts, as always, are welcome in the comments below.
