I know yall hate Auburn
but wanted to point out how much of a class act (in my opinion) Tommy Tubberville is/was.
Dude was a good coach and I really couldn't ever help but like the guy. I'm from the generation of Dawg fans that doesn't absolutely hate Auburn like some here, so I never minded the guy. I have heard he throws his coordinators under the bus, but hell, sometimes I wonder if Mark Richt should do that (like, right now?).
Compared to Phat Phil Phulmer, this guy was a saint. I hate Tennessee. And having hardcore Bama fans in my family, I strongly dislike Phil Phulmer. But TT was a likeable coach.

I'm glad he's gone
I can’t see Auburn hiring anybody better to replace him. This was a panic move on top of a panic move on top of a panic move that all started, most likely, with the hiring of Nick Saban. Say what you will about the man (I never liked him), but he was obviously a very good coach. His firing/resignation is nothing but a good thing for UGA. Personally, I hope they replace him with Bobby Petrino. That would give me one more stellar reason to hate Auburn.
BUT
Just sittin here listening to Auburn’s AD stating that this was ALL TT’s idea that he and the pres “begged” him not to leave…..believe him??….I dont
BTW
I dont hate TT or auburn for that matter…..savin all my hate for the Vols….with a smidge for the Gaytors
