Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

As much as this sucks...

after reading some of the comments from this and other blogs, it is kind of funny watching the rats jump off the ship.

Don't really want to say anything else, except this...

We have a great Head Coach, a great coaching staff, and an absolutely awesome group of players. I'm with them.  If you don't want to be...jump off.  We don't need you.  Perhaps there's a team out there that wears orange you can follow.

Go Dawgs,

Brian

Rats - Ship Jumpers ??

I’m not sure but perhaps you are referring to a comment I posted (the thread mysteriously disappeared) about the failure of the coaching staff and my displeasure with BoBo ball.

First – I have likely been a Dawg fan longer than you have been on planet earth – I attended my first game 47 years ago. In that period of time the only games I have not attended, watched on TV or listened to on the radio were the games played while I was in VN.

To insinuate I am a rat jumping ship is disingenuous at best. I see a problem with game planning and play calling nothing more nothing less. I see a coaching staff that is obviously doing something wrong. I see a team that falls flat on its face when playing teams of equal or possibly slightly better talent. I see a team that waves the white flag and sends a message; we don’t think we can beat you straight up, by resorting to trick plays when it is not necessary. We have a top 5 QB (passer), top 5 RB and top 5 WR and fail to utilize them when the chips are down.

Can someone explain to me why we try the QB sweep when we have a stable of RB’s? Can someone explain to me why we have an OC that creates game plans based on the opposing coach rather than on the talent we have? Go back and look at the games against Spurrier and Meyer – two tricksters that come to mind – and tell me the game plan wasn’t designed to out trick the tricksters.

I’m far from jumping ship but I am asking for some accountability. I wouldn’t trade CMR for anyone in the country but……….we are not getting the best from the players we have. Something is missing. Now pardon me – if as you say I am a rat jumping ship – I need to swim ashore.
