it is about time people start talking about replacing Richt
i just went to www.firemarkricht.net
seems to be some angry fans out there.
there comes a time when all of the uga fans need to decide if richt is the one that is going to take us to the next level. it is not an easy decision. however, check out the site and if you believe, then join the movement!!!
most people seem to agree that if we come together, the powers to be will listen. check out the site!!

When monkeys can fly...
…or when he lets Willie Martinez become our Jeff Bowden will I support a movement to fire Mark Richt. Does anyone remember that Georgia was a mediocre to irrelevant program from about 1985-2001? I do and I have savored every moment of the last 7 years. Sure, I wish we had lived up to the preseason billing this year, but that preseason #1 and subsequent crash might be the best thing that ever happened to this program. Seemed to work out real well for FSU in 1988 when they were #1 preseason and got beat by Miami 31-0. I believe they won 2 national titles in the following 11 seasons.

when monkeys fly
Richt doesn’t need to go. However, he does need to be a leader and surround himself with better coaches. Martinez can’t lead our defense to a national title. Sorry if that hurts your feelings.

You're joking right?
Seriously you have to be joking or you have manure for brains one of the two. Gee, let’s fire the winningest coach in the history of the program and get who…Tommy Bowdon, maybe Phil Fulmer, or how about Ty Willingham, I hear he is looking for a job.
Unreal!

You have got to be f***ing kidding me!
This is one of the worst ideas I think I’ve heard in my entire life and that includes ideas from friends both sober and drunk. You want to fire a man who is 80-21 in his first 101 games as HC? Seriously? And who would replace him? You realize the man is considered a top ten coach in the ENTIRETY of colleg football. Jeez, take this trash elsewhere please.

Precisely
Anybody who wants to fire Mark Richt in 2008 also would’ve wanted to fire Vince Dooley in 1971 or Wally Butts in 1946. Ridiculous.

obviously
…we agree
Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.

This guy is a troll and should be deleted.
Click on his login name and you will see that he joined SB Nation and joined the blawg and shortly posted this.
Don’t freak out this is not a real UGA fan and i doubt the site was made by a clear thinking legitamate fan.

I am a member of...
… Saurian Sagacity’s “Gators for Richt” club. Any talk of firing Richt is absurd. He should and will remain Georgia’s head coach for many years.

Gatorpilot, that's a cheap shot and it's beneath you
“Gators for Goff” was one thing, but that’s low and unfair, and you know it.

If we could, let's . . .
. . . steer clear of politics. I don’t want to rehash the election.
Thanks for your understanding.

Right???
First off Richt is not the problem. He is an extremely good coach, we should be thankful to have a coach like him. Secondly, Mike Bobo has to go, absolutely horrible play calls year in and year out. I mean honestly you have to stop throwing the deep ball every first down play, it doesnt work and its a waste of a play what a moron. Bobo is killing this team in my opinion, things are not going to go good for Georgia until he is gone, period. Also, martinez, what a joke. Honestly who does he think he is, crappiest Georgia defense i have seen in a while. We need to get a new offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator. Richts only downfall, he does not get the team pumped up and ready to play.

I'm suspicious
This post sounds like it could have come from a Tennessee hack just hoping we will fire Richt. Or an Auburn hack. Or a Clemson hack.
He’s our coach and he will win us a National Championship.

Fire Richt
Georgia will never compete for a national title with the current staff. Yes, they will win 8=10 games with the weak schedules. So if fans are happy with that then except it and keep status quo. This is the worst coaching year with the best talent !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who then?
Seriously. Who is a better hire? Where do you find a better coach to fulfill your national championship desires?

That is probably the most sensible post
in this thread. Who would we hire?? There is no one available even if we did want a new coach. No Bulldog fan in their right mind would want to replace Richt. However, on a rational note, if the fans are so fired up about firing/replacing Bobo and Martinez (I could definitely entertain those possibilities), what does it say for Mark Richt if he won’t even consider it? Has he ever replaced a coach due to incompetence or for not being the right fit? I AM NOT AGREEING WITH THIS BOZO OR ADVOCATING RICHT SHOULD GO ANYWHERE, I’m just asking a legitimate question: Does Richt have what it takes to make the tough decision? For instance, if this absolute epitome of self-destruction we call the 2008 UGA football team, were to continue in 2009, should some of the coaching staff be replaced and should Richt be ridiculed for not making such a decision.
You know, we all have days where nothing goes right. I had one of those evenings tonight. I basically got online to do the finances real quick and found out a presentation I worked on for 3 days was done incorrectly and had to redo it. Then, I had nothing but trouble trying to save and edit the video files, lost the file and had to re-record it. Then, when I finally got done, the website (which I had been on and off of for the previous 4 hrs.) suddenly went down. I was pretty ticked off by this time but I did have a revelation. I have had days, weeks and even months that seemed to go like this. I think this is exactly what’s wrong with UGA. They are having one of those years. This team needs confidence, DISCIPLINE and for things to go their way. I have all ideas that we will be underrated and will overdeliver next year. For now, let’s practice and get ready for Tech!!

VDawg hit the nail
on the head. CMR may have one fault in that he is to loyal to his staff. My hope beyond hope is that someone will offer BoBo a HC position.
