But seriously, as much as I hate Tennessee, LSU has been an absolute disappointment this year. I would much rather see a team from the superior SEC Eastern Division represent the SEC in the Sugar Bowl.
Additionally, if UT gets to the Sugar Bowl and wins, and UGA wins the Rose Bowl, both teams are looking at preseason Top 10s (if not Top 5s). That will help our strength of schedule when we beat Tennessee next year.
