The Sunday Random Crazy Idea

A few weeks ago, I introduced the Friday Random Crazy Idea. Today, I will be trotting out its weekend counterpart . . . the Sunday Random Crazy Idea.

I chose Sunday because the idea concerns Chick-fil-A, which is closed on Sundays, so I figured this would give the restaurant time to mull over my nutty notion during the off-hours.

As all of you know, I am a big fan of Chick-fil-A. I'm not as big a fan of "The Chick" as, say, Paul Westerdawg, but, still, I enjoy a Chick-fil-A sandwich.

Truett Cathy created the chicken sandwich and he saw that it was good, then, on the seventh day, he rested.

Here's today's Sunday Random Crazy Idea:

A Chick-fil-A sandwich . . . with bacon.

A relative of mine once made the observation that everything in life was improved by the addition of one of two things: good-looking women or bacon.

I find no fault with that formulation, so it stands to reason that even the majestic goodness that is the Chick-fil-A sandwich could be made better if those two crucial pickles were augmented by the inclusion of a couple of criss-crossed strips of bacon between the boneless breast of chicken and the top bun.

Arguably, the other way to improve a Chick-fil-A sandwich would be to have one with Jessica Alba.

That, then, is the Sunday Random Crazy Idea: a Chick-fil-A sandwich with bacon.

You tell me . . . how crazy is that?
